The Little Puppy Lying & Crying Alone Without Strength After Being Abandoned On a Hill At Night

This 20-day-old puppy was abandoned on a mountainside near Chanis, Panama, with little force.

With flies, lice, fleas and many sores on her body ... till they find her, her health is serious, she doesn't move much, breathes with difficulty and always closes her eyes…

She spent the whole day at Veterinary Paws & Footprints of Chains, where she was checked every 2 hours. The small child, who weighs only 0.66 kg (1.45 lb), must take several injectable medications every few hours.

Since she could not eat, her blood sugar level dropped again, requiring another blood transfusion.. This is a painful procedure, especially for a small child. It's awful to hear her voice "crying" in the middle of the night…

However, the veterinarian advised her to repeat the procedure several times because her anemia was not improving despite an adequate diet.

Even with blood transfusions, her hematocrit level does not increase, which indicates that she is not regenerating on her own.

The next day, his hemoglobin level rose from 3.0 to 4.5 following the transfusion. Her platelets went from 28 to 84 and her hematocrit from 12 to 16, allowing Baby Amor to leave the hospital.

After two days in their care, Baby Amor calmed down and stopped sobbing at night. She is still hospitalized every morning during which she is observed and monitored.

In the afternoon, their volunteers start playing with her, which can make her feel loved and is beneficial for her mental health.

Amor started eating Proplan canned puppy food a week later, not much, but his appetite increased. She is also given water and malt extract, a food supplement with a high iron content, every 2 hours.

The strength of his heart is greater than that of his body. The wounds begin to heal, causing an itchy sensation with the bandage. The little girl does not give up; she has fought against all obstacles and continues to stand on her feet, begging life for another opportunity.
